Jean-Gabriel  Becker

Producer / Composer

Jean-Gabriel Becker was consumed by music from an early age, learning to play multiple instrumental as a child in Paris, and becoming obsessed with the playing of others as a teennager. He entered music as a profession after moving to London, and establishing independent record labels from which he released a series of artists that included Simian Mobile Disco, Zongamin and Phantom Band.

His musical prescience, combined with a deep immersion in London’s live music scene as both player and consumer, gave him a unique insight into production of a divers  range of sounds for different audiences. This was to prove invaluable when his career naturally segued into the production of sound and music for film.

First building an impressive body of work in music for television, from lo-fi naive folk for Nickelodeon, to ambitious techno for MTV, he eventually began composing original film scores in 2009.

Whilst Jean-Gabriel still dabbles in live music and production sets out to reach the outer limits of pop and dance music with his many personal projects, composition for motion picture is very much his day job.

Sönam Gray

Sound Designer / Recordinist

Sönam Gray was born in Scotland and studied all aspects of sound for several years, mostly in London where he built his career up, firstly in music studios and then after re-training, covering all areas of sound design and sonic arts from Documentary, indie shorts, website sound to 5.1 installations and live performance. His vision of translating the everyday organic, sometimes cold and rigid sound structures into meaningful and warm expressions whether that is in scoring an image or as a composition, is definitely his maturing palette.

He is as happy on set as he is tucked away in a post studio or playing on a foley stage and is now based in NYC.
